Opponents of concealed carry laws in general have been proven time and again to be absolutely wrong on their predictions that concealed carry will bring an avalanche of shootings. Now they have a new bogeyman, the notion of concealed carry on college campuses, but in attacking on that new front, they are falling back on the same old cliché-ridden arguments. Not everyone on college campuses is opposed to the idea. The Students for Concealed Carry on Campus (SCCC) was founded as a response to Virginia Tech, and there are now chapters all over the country. Students can present valid arguments in support of concealed carry, and they do.
