Avoid the Double Standards
When
the state of Israel
employs a policy of oppression against Palestinians, it is not regarded as
“Jewish” violence. When Serbia
committed genocide against Bosnians and other Muslims in the Balkans, it was
not regarded as a “Christian” aggression.
In both examples, groups and states invoke their defense of religion and
of their national identity to justify violence.
Hence, there is a double standard when reporting on violence.

Yes, the Torah and Old Testament Bible record violence in the past, but do not promote violence today. No one can argue that current day commands in these scriptures are equivalent to the current day commands of the Koran. A strong majority of the terrorism in the world today is in fact Muslim and are inspired by its teachings. There are several places where the Koran and Hadith speak of violence (in the later and "active" Medinan verses) ... yes some are conditional and subjective on whether Islam is being "threatened," which could be something such as a prohibition to where a burka or head scarf, or the failure of adversaries to convert. But this subjectivity is how terrorists get their " mandate " to carry out violent acts.
Not excusing everything Israel does, but it seems there is a diffrence between a right of survival on its own territory, and worldwide terrorism committed in the name of Islam?
Similar to the defense made for Muslim violence, violence committed by " Christians " in the Balkans isn't religiously motivated.
