A Border Wall Would be a New “Berlin Wall”

There is a world of difference between a wall to keep people in and a wall to keep people out. The purpose of the Berlin Wall was to hold people in so that their government could oppress and dominate them. The purpose of a secure American border is to prevent massive numbers of illegal aliens from oppressing and dominating us.
   
Another way of understanding this issue is an everyday example. No one condemns homeowners or business owners for building walls or fences around their property. They do this to live and do business as they wish. America is the property of American citizens. We have the right to keep trespassers away.
